Action Time Across Brazil

The largest agricultural school in Brazil, Costa Caetano, in Lages city, SC, bought a Mahindra 8560 4WD tractor model. This tractor was delivered by technical consultant José Ricardo Alvarez, in the presence of the school’s administrators and students.

  • The 5th ExpoTigre was held from October 31 – November 6, 2013, in the city of Arroyo do Tigre. The Schneider Commercial Dealer made the presence of Mahindra Tractors felt registering 52 potential customers.
  • Unit Manager Tractors, Sérgio Borges and his team organized the first commercial training program for the Mahindra Tractor dealer network, from December 2-6, 2013, at the tractor factory in Dois Irmãos city. It was attended by all the dealers and the sales teams. Training for technicians followed at the same location, from December 9-13, 2013.
  • From October 20 - November 1, 2013, consultant Jason Fund of the American agency Strawberry Frog conducted a study of the Mahindra brand positioning in Brazil. Interviews were conducted with dealers Santa Macchina of Santa Maria city and Scarpa of Turvo city, as well as with Mahindra Tractor customers and with farmers using competitors’ brands. From the insights gathered they will be devising a strategy for Global Branding.
