Mr. Nhem Sophal, a leading journalist with the Rasmey Kampuchea, the highest selling newspaper in Cambodia, recently visited India. His visit was planned by Mahindra, along with distributor Mekong AT, in order to showcase Mahindra to Cambodian readers, through a number of articles.
During his India trip Mr. Sophal visited the Mahindra Tractor Plant, the Mahindra Automotive Plant and Ventile, the Mahindra dealership at Pune. He interviewed Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Vice President – International Operations and Mr. Tejas Pandit, Mahindra Dealer.
In addition to being impressed with the Mahinda Automotive and Tractor Plants, Mr. Sophal was impressed by the Philosophy of Rise and Mahindra Samriddhi, which were showcased at the Ventile dealership. He was touched by the hospitality extended to him by the team at the Ventile dealership as well as by the Mahindra opinion leaders, Mr. Keskar Ananda Bapu and Mr Dada Manjaba at their residences.
An ardent follower of Gandhi, Mr. Sophal also had an opportunity to visit the Aga Khan Palace in Pune and Mani Bhavan in Mumbai. Upon his return to Cambodia, he authored three back-to back articles about his visit to India in the Rasmey Kampuchea.
