About the MKM series of tractors

The MKM series of tractors in the 40-50 HP category, come with an all New MKM series of engines that are more fuel efficient. These direct injection, four cylinder engines with a high displacement and low rated speed provide excellent torque characteristics, fuel efficiency and durability.

The efficient transmission in these tractors ensures that most of the engine power is available at the Drawbar and Axles. This allows the tractor to deliver high levels of Drawbar Power and higher productivity with minimal slippage, making them ideal for all draft and PTO applications such as deep puddling, cultivation and harrowing. The heavy duty transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse speeds with side shift mechanism is extremely easy to operate. Designed to match the impressive power and torque characteristics of the engine, the transmission incorporates very wide gears, offering great strength. The foot operated differential lock allows power to be applied equally to both the rear wheels for maximum traction when needed.

Made of heavy-duty steel, the new design “Bow type” front axle offers increased ground clearance and added stability and control, reducing the incidence of front end lifting. These tractors come standard with Hydrostatic (Power) steering that considerably reduces steering efforts. A fully enclosed and sealed housing with large sized multiple wet discs are used in brakes on either side, so that a large frictional area is available for efficient braking of these tractors, even while hauling large loads. In this design, the oil removes much of the heat generated by friction and keeps the discs cool, resulting in a much longer disc life.
Another highlight of the MKM Series tractors is that these tractors come standard with Reverse Constant running Power Take Off (PTO) The design ensures that almost the entire engine power is available at the PTO. This helps deliver a substantial increase in productivity with PTO driven implements.

A comfortable and spacious operator area allows the farmer to work for longer hours. The uncluttered platform with a very wide passage allows easy entry and exit. All control levers are ergonomically placed and the hydraulics with a quick lift mechanism allow fatigue free operation which is much needed during long hauls.
