Continues tradition of hard working, high value tractors
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., the world’s largest tractor company by volumes, continues its commitment to provide tough, rugged and high value tractors to its customers with the launch of the 9200-4WD, its most powerful tractor to date. This tractor features a 92 HP engine, which provides enough power to haul the largest loads, while the standard four-wheel drive provides optimal traction and pulling power. These tractors are designed for primary and secondary tillage, livestock operations, crop protection and material handling applications.
The 9200-4WD is ideal for farming operations in Australia, Africa and Latin America.
Boasting an impressive four stroke, direct injection, four cylinder turbocharged engine, the advanced design ensures a maximum torque of 329 Nm.
The 9200 4WD features forward-reverse Synchro-Shuttle with 12 forward & 12 reverse gears , wet disc brakes and a rear differential lock as standard.
The front axle with a "limited slip differential" and planetary reduction offers high dynamic load carrying capacity and is designed for maximum performance with various attachments. The responsive hydrostatic steering has a tight steering angle, for effortless manoeuvring even in confined areas.
The full platform with plenty of operator room, and ergonomically placed controls provides maximum operator comfort and ease of operation.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive of International Operations, Auto and Farm Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “These tractors provide great value for the dollar and further strengthen Mahindra’s product offering in the 80-100 HP segment, wherein Mahindra products have already gained an enviable position of being among the top selling tractor brands in many countries.”
“Mahindra is known for making tractors with brute strength. The axles and 3-point hitches are bigger, thicker, and more solid: this provides greater stability and control in handling the most difficult tasks. With more than 3300 kgs under its belly, the Mahindra 9200 4WD would be one of the heaviest and most robustly built tractors in its class, capable of eating any of the hard-work thrown at it” he added.
