Dealers in Nepal conducted a slew of on ground activities which included several road shows, free service and training camps.
The Mahindra road show in the Ambu marketing area saw participation from Option Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and M.P. Automobiles. The Arjun 605 and Yuvraj 215 tractors at the show attracted plenty of attention and several bookings were registered.
Another road show was conducted in Lahan in early November 2014, covering four districts. Bookings for 21 tractors were received and 8 tractors were delivered to their proud owners.
Out of the four free service camps, the first three were conducted in association with Agni Incorporated. The first one by Pratishtha International was organised across Banke and Bardiya districts. Over 35 tractors were serviced, free health check-ups were conducted for drivers, tractors were demonstrated and information on safe driving and other soft skills was shared. The second one was organised by Geetanjali Auto at Lahan, Mirchaiya, Garuda and Gaur, where around 28 tractors were attended to. Bajaj Auto Works joined in the association for this. The third one was rolled out by Shree Krishna Distributors where over 30 tractors were serviced, discounts were offered on spare parts and lubricants and customers were educated about the operation, maintenance and servicing of the tractors. In the fourth camp conducted by Sakushal Trade Link covering customers in Fikkal, Illam, Ranke, Phidim and Taplegunj, 59 tractors were serviced.
The training camps included the ‘Customer Meet & Onsite Service’ and ‘Product Champion Training’ camps. The former one was conducted in Bhairahawa by Samriddhi Enterprises in association with Agni Incorporated, which saw good participation. The latter camp was conducted by Balaju Auto Works Pvt.
